Our aim
We aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had the site audited by an outside accessibility specialist, so we cannot claim full conformance. We describe it as partially conforming.
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings, with the main heading first on every page
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alt text, including the client logos
- A skip to content link is available to keyboard users
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors say what to fix
- Text is set at a readable size, and most text meets the recommended contrast ratio
- The site works on phones and tablets, and zooms without breaking
What we know still needs work
These are the issues we have found ourselves. We are working through them.
- Some pages do not yet have a main landmark, which helps screen reader users jump to the content
- Some pink buttons with white text sit slightly below the recommended contrast ratio for small text
- Some text placed over photographs may be hard to read for some people
- Parts of the site use animation. We are adding support for the reduced-motion setting across all pages
- We have not yet tested every page with a screen reader, so some pages may behave less well than others
